This week I wasn’t able to make it to class for the classmate convo because it was my younger sisters signing day. Signing day is a very big deal for student athletes because it is signing their letter of intent (contract) to play their sport for the next couple years. My sister verbally committed to play softball for UCLA her freshmen year of high school, so this was a day she has been waiting for, for a long time. She has been consistently been ranked in the national top 50 softball players of her class her whole high school career. Malia has been playing softball since she was eight years old and has dedicated hundreds of hours of training to be the elite athlete she is.
Besides playing softball, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and attending other sporting events. She is going into kinesiology at UCLA and wishes to become a medical trainer one day. Below is a pic of me and my sis.
