This weeks project I got to choose between making a flip book or a zine. I chose to make a zine because I love to collage and make bigger pictures out of something smaller. I love when the seasons change, and although you don’t really see the changing seasons too much in Southern California, in other parts of the state and country it is really prominent. So for my zine which is titled “Season Watching”, I tried to capture the different seasons with different cute quotes. My favorite page is the one with the Hawaiian Islands on it because I love Hawaii. Not because I am part Hawaiian, but because I think that they are super beautiful. I also burned the edges of the book because I didn’t want them to be harsh and straight, and I felt like that the burned edges gave it a more artsy look. So far this was my favorite project!!
